Chapter One
Banish All Doubt!
You must be BAD!
"We often have it backwards. We pray, asking for the Universal to recognize us, rather than to pray with the silent intent to have that which is Universal, and already inside of us, come forth. We try to demand our separateness from God, by asking something outside of ourselves for what we want, rather than to know we are part of God, and so nothing is outside of ourselves. We ask to get things, rather than ask to disappear resistance to experiencing the everything we already have." Tom Wright
This book will be short, sweet, and to the point. The point is to be: BAD! You must be BAD! before anything else. What is BAD!? It's the first of five principles for achieving success that will be outlined in the following chapters. In Chapter One, BAD! is your acronyming practice that means to Banish All Doubt! Be BAD!
Before you start any project, in the middle of that project, and when you are completing that project, the first thing you must do is to Banish All Doubt! How do you do that? I could give you a thousand different ways that I have done it, but they all started with one thing and one thing only: a commitment to certainty. That's right, make a commitment to Source, God, Infinite Intelligence, to yourself, to your mother, to your father, to your friends, to your kids, to your peer group, to whomever you have to, to have certainty about what you plan to do. You make this commitment by speaking these words out loud:
"I hereby, in this now, right now, commit all that I be, all that I do, and all that I have, to the successful fruition of my goals, all for the greater good of (Source, God, The All That Is, Infinite Intelligence,) all for the greater good of myself, and all for the greater good of those around me."
Repeat this phrase every day, at least ten times a day, and if you do nothing else, if you read no further, you will have gained an immensely valuable piece of technology. That's right, this phrase is technology, because when you repeat it, it works. It works successfully just like your acronyming practices from Acronyming POWER Your Life! work well, when you do them. This is the "no stress to success" method. There's no strain, no great shoving or pushing going on here. Simply repeat the correct phrases, and the internal motivation will come naturally. Your internal motivation. This process of repetition isn't about changing yourself, but more about shifting your relationship to yourself. This isn't about finding more power somehow, from somewhere, which would be to change yourself, but about letting out the power that you already possess, in a focused and committed way.
Make certain to speak your goals out loud to either yourself, or to others, but only if they are aligned with those goals. Don't tell your best friend about your goal of having a wonderful relationship, if for instance, they "just know" how you are, and that "nothing like that has ever worked out for you in the past." The past has nothing to do with transformations, breakthroughs, or what's going to happen in the future, including in this future now, unfolding right here and now. Yesterday's snowy weather doesn't mean that it's going to snow today.
What goals can you reach when you commit to yourself in this way? For starters, the creation of robust health or the manifestation of more money. It also could be the experience of happier and more peaceful relationships, or the nurturance of a loving family. It might be choosing and then following a cherished life avocation, or having joy simply for the sake of being joyous. For others it might be finding and following their path with heart. In truth, you might have all of these as goals. As humans being we can commit to have anything that anyone might want to have in spite of ourselves!
Once you Banish All Doubt! what happens that will allow you to know when you are really being BAD!? There are a few physical signs that you have Banished All Doubt! One, your "normal" thoughts will be interrupted. When all doubt is banished, your mind will either be clear, or what it comes up with as negativity will no longer matter to you. It's not that self-defeating thoughts won't be there, they will, but when they come, those thoughts will no longer have any power to sway you off your course of action! And two, you will find yourself staying in action, carrying out those tasks necessary for you to be successful, even when in the middle of what used to stop your progress: upsets, anger, frustration, resignation, rejection, and regret.
One of the great and disempowering beliefs we have, I have, you have, is that somehow when we Banish All Doubt! we will no longer have any more doubts! But being BAD! isn't about killing off your mind, but rather, it's about having only those things that you deliberately come up with, mean anything to you. For instance, in the course of one day, I have a few thousand thoughts, as we all do. Some of them are still upsetting and definitely fear based. But, after practicing my acronyming long enough, after repeating inspirational phrases over and over again for a long enough time, my normal thoughts have slowly become--for the most part--aligned with what I want to accomplish. Yet, even now, when I am about to undertake a new project, or even a new part of an old project, such as marketing one of my books, I can feel my old fears coming up again, along with that tightening in the belly that always used to signal my freezing up and then stopping action. Great! Or I can feel that tightness coming on when I am about to simply take on something entirely new. Great again!...........
